What is Shareware.....
Shareware is also known as user supported software. Shareware is
Copyrighted material allowing the author to retain all rights to the
software. The user is then allowed to obtain the software and try it out
free of charge to ensure that it fulfils the needs of the user before he
or she has to purchase it.
Shareware is not Public Domain software even though they may be
obtained from the same sources.
If you continue to use shareware after trying it out, you are
expected to register with the author and pay a registration fee. The
registration fee usually includes a printed manual, free updates,
telephone support, etc.
Registering the shareware that you are going to use, enables the
shareware author to continue to support his software and create new
programs. Shareware registration fees are usually less than the purchase
price of comparable commercial software.
The advantages of the shareware system are as follows.
1. You are allowed to try the software free of charge for a
specified time to make sure it is compatible with your
computer and that it does what you would like.
2. The authors expenses have been reduced substantially
therefore the cost of the program is reduced substantially
over commercial products.
3. Programs that are just as good and in some cases better
than commercial programs. About Archery1.Exe

The introductory screen will disappear and a notice will appear in the
left hand corner saying "Do you wish to use save mode [N]". You should
answer "Y" to this question so that your records will be kept right up to
date in the event that you have a power failure or fluctuation in the
current and the computer either reboots or shuts down. Lets look at the
different parts of the screen so you will become familiar with them.

2. This area lets you know what is happening with the database.
ie. Initializing, Main Menu, Filtering, adding, deleting
3. This area lets you know which index you have chosen to sort the
information on.
4. This is all the area within the borders. All your database
information will be shown in this area.

Printing Mailing Labels
You are able to print a list for Members, Non members and the SAA.
Select the F8 key and then select "A" for Mailing List. Another menu will
appear asking you to pick between All, Members or Saa.
If you pick "A)LL" only the non members of your club will be printed.
If you pick "C)LUB" then only club members will be printed. Choosing "S)AA"
will print a hard copy report of everyone that shot at your competition.
REMEMBER if you are going to print mailing labels you may only use the

Rebuild the database
The only time you should actually rebuild the database is if you are
prompted to or you have deleted and added quite a few of records. If you
have added and deleted a lot of records then you would choose F10 from the
menu. The example below shows what the screen will be like while the program
is actually rebuilding the database.
